Prohibited Goods

Prohibited Goods refers to the types of Goods that Flash Express does not accept for delivery or carriage. 

In the event Flash Express discovers any Prohibited Goods in the Parcel, Flash Express has the right to hand it over to the relevant departments for processing (and/or discarding). The Sender and the Recipient understand that Flash Express shall not be liable for any damage to and/or loss of any Prohibited Goods. 

Prohibited Goods include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Goods with Improper Packaging

2. Goods that require Flash Express to obtain a local license for their transportation; or may otherwise cause delay to the Services and/or damage to equipment, personnel or other shipments; as well as, all kinds of weapons and ammunition such as firearms, switchblade, flick knives, war materials, sword, ax, knife, pistol, air gun, compressed air gun, lighter gun, components of firearm (whether realistic, improvised, or a replica of firearm, realistic toy weapon, etc.)

3. Goods containing obscene and pornographic materials such as magazines, CDs, DVDs, films, photographs, newspaper, posters, books, calendars, optical discs, and toys that may endanger national security and political stability.

4. All Kinds of Explosives and Hazardous Goods 

These include detonators, gunpowder, firecracker, explosives gas, flammable liquids, flammable solids, lighter fluid, gasoline, kerosene, petrol liquid, tung oil, alcohol, lacquer, diesel, aerosol, gas lighter, gas cylinder, phosphorus, sulfur, matches, aerosol pressure container, etc. that are capable of posing a significant risk to health, safety or to property. 

5. All Kinds of Corrosive Goods

These include hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, chromic acid, acetic acid and hydrofluoric acid, organic solvents, pesticides, hydrogen peroxide, hazardous chemicals, etc.

6. All Kinds of Radioactive Elements and Containers 

These include uranium, cobalt, radium, plutonium, thorium, etc.

7. All Kinds of Potent Poisons

Such as ricin, tetradotoxin, amatoxin, brodifacoum, strychnine, lead, bismuth, thallium, cyanide, arsenic, mercury, toxic (poisonous) and infectious substances, oxidizing substances and organic peroxides, etc.

8. All Kinds of Narcotic Drugs

These include opium (including poppy shells, flowers, bracts, alfalfa, leaves), morphine, cocaine, heroin, cannabis, methamphetamine, ephedrine,marijuana, ice and other products, etc.

All Kinds of Biochemical Products and Infectious Materials

These include anthrax, dangerous germs, waste or garbage for disposal, hazardous waste, including, but not limited to, used hypodermic needles or syringes, or other medical waste.

10. Various Items that Impede Public Health

These include bones, animal carcasses, animal organs, limbs, unskinned hides, unmedicated animal bones, human corpses, human body parts, human embryos, or cremated or disinterred human remains, etc.

11. Goods that are otherwise prohibited to be delivered under the applicable laws and regulations. 

These include state secrets documents and materials, precious cultural relics, and commodities that are prohibited by any applicable law or regulation.

12. Articles of Extraordinary Value or Unable to Assess the Value of the Item

These include airline tickets; archaeological artifacts; artwork and paintings; articles of antiquity and antiques (including counterfeit Goods); China, crystal, porcelain; coins (collectable); deeds and titles covering both personal and real properties; financial documents including banknotes, bank cheque, credit cards, debit cards, pledged tickets; furs including pelts (finished/unfinished); fur clothing and fur-trimmed clothing; gems (cut/ uncut); lottery tickets and gambling devices that are prohibited by law; jewelry (other than costume); non-negotiable bonds/bond coupons; non-negotiable securities; non-negotiable shares/share coupons; Pearls; Precious metals including gold, silver, platinum, palladium, iridium, ruthenium, osmium, rhodium whether coined/uncoined, refined/unrefined, in any form including bullion, dore, casting, cyanide, sulfide-treated, dust, concentrate, foil, wire, sheet, tube, ingot, grain, powder, rod, sponge, gauze; promissory notes; stamps including collectable, postage, revenue; stock certificates; and watches. 

13. Medical Samples & Animal and Plant Samples 

These include diagnostic samples, blood samples, urine samples, human tissues, secretions, etc.

14. Drugs and Medicines

Only Over the Counter (“OTC”) medicines are allowed. Prescription drugs are not allowed unless otherwise authorized to be dispensed by the medical store. 

15. Parcels that are wet, leak, or emit an odor of any kind

17. Fresh or Perishable Food Products

These include fresh meat, cooked food, etc.

Restricted Goods

Restricted Goods refers to Goods that are fragile, easily damaged, and/or otherwise  contaminated. 

Flash Express reserves the right not to accept Restricted Goods unless they meet the Packaing Requirements. 

Further, Flash Express disclaims any liability in case the Restricted Goods are damaged and/or otherwise expire or rot during carriage. Flash Express will not pay compensation under any circumstances. In the event of loss, compensation can be claimed. If shipping insurance has been purchased, the maximum amount of  compensation shall not exceed 5000 baht.[For Discussion with the Team]

1. Goods Made of Fragile Materials (Glass, Mirrors, Stone, Ceramic, or Porcelain)

These include utensils, glassware, plates, lamps, mirrors, light bulbs, and Goods that contain parts made of plastic materials.

2. Fragile Goods

These include TV, cupboard, monitor, chandelier, computer, wall clock, etc.

3. Musical Instruments

These include guitars, drums, electronic keyboards, etc.

Unclaimable Goods

Unclaimable Goods refers to Goods which Flash Express agrees to deliver and/or carry but for which Flash Express disclaims liability in case of damage or loss. Unclaimable Goods include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Plants and Plant Specimens

These include flowers, saplings, etc.

2. Tickets

Including receipts, coupons, concert tickets, event tickets and etc.

3. Used Goods or Second Hand Goods

4. Identification Documents, Secret Letters or Secret Documents

These include Identification cards, driver's license, passport, birth certificate, contract, wills, titles, deeds, etc.

5. Products that have personal values or that cannot be replaced

These include statues, mascots, amulets, etc.
